Specialist Notes:


In a case where a user is asking to change the name on the account because they are using an email address their predecessor used (IE: the email address belongs to the position, not to the person), the administrators have advised that the user will need to create their own account for the best experience in the portal.


If a user is asking to have the name on a shared account changed, keep in mind that only the person whose name is on the account profile can make this request. If a different user needs to take over, we should suggest that the new user create their own account, but if they are insistent on using the same email address, we can offer to deactivate the current account. (Update the current account profile by adding XXX to the email and username and set it to InActive.)
